If you are a local authority, or a contractor working for one, you will
have no doubt heard of the National Highways Sector Scheme, or Sector Scheme 8, 9b and 10, or Sector Scheme 8 depending
on who you heard it from, and when.
Sector Scheme 8 covers the Planning, Installation and Maintenance
of Highway Electrical Installations (Illuminated signs, traffic signals and public lighting).
